"Maybe we all did," Lily replied, closing her eyes at the brush of his fingertips. She wasn't mad at him, at all. She really didn't think that James had done anything wrong. And maybe she should have just let James and Sirius work it out instead of jumping to James' defense, but she'd never been very good at keeping her mouth shut when she thought something wasn't right.
Opening her eyes again, she nodded. "I'm sure it will be fine after he cools down, too. I'll be the first to say that I can't imagine a world where you two aren't glued together, yeah?" she grinned and shrugged, "Maybe you both just actually need to talk to each other." She still thought Sirius had been an arse, but James obviously didn't like the current situation and all she could think of to fix it was for them to actually talk about it.
Out of any other advice, she tilted her chin forward so that she could press her lips to his, not trying to make him stop talking, at all, but because she just wanted to. Settling back against him, she joked, "Since you're apparently the snoggee in this relationship, I figured I'd better be doing the snogging."
