Going to the Ballet

[info]ex_inwonderl731
Who: Frank and Alice
What: Going to the ballet and discovering Dorcas's secret while being cute and romantic.
Where: A theatre
When: A week after Frank's proposal (which we have to write)
Why: Romance, cuteness and mystery
Status: Incomplete

Alice was unbearably excited about the fact that Frank had gotten tickets and offered to take her to see La Sylphide, while Alice wasn't particularly artistic in any way, shape or form, she enjoyed all of the arts, something she had been surprised that Frank had picked up on, and yet here, thoughtful frank, her thoughtful Frank, her fiance, had gotten her tickets. She nervously rearranged the skirt of her yellow dress as she waited anxiously for Frank to arrive at the Fireplace.

Who: Frank, Sirius, and Dorcas
What: the meeting after the other meeting
When: the day after the other meeting
Where: Hog's Head
Status: in progress

Frank was not in a very good mood when he and Sirius Apparated to the Hog's Head the next day. He'd almost been upset to find out that Dorcas had told them the truth, for the scene the night before had not been pretty. At all. But at the same time, it had made him very glad to have a spy among the Death Eaters.

He nodded to Aberforth and ordered ales for himself and Sirius before joining his friend at the table, offering the other man a small smile. "Here, mate, it's on me."

Who: Frank, Sirius, and Dorcas
What: Dorcas turns to the Order
Where: a cafe on Diagon Alley
When: a week after graduation, afternoon
Status: in progress

Frank settled happily into his chair at the open air cafe. Sirius had suggested that they go to a pub, but Frank had insisted on getting food first: he was hungry, and drinking on an empty stomach was never a good idea. Besides, the air was so warm in early summer, giving a feeling of general content and making the shoppers around them smile. Frank had no desire to be in a stuffy pub yet, that was better saved for when he could appreciate the warmth enough to ignore the smell of alcohol and sweat.

"We finally made it out," he said cheerfully, crossing his arms behind his head as he smiled at his companion. "Got our whole lives ahead of us now. Not that you're ever going to grow up, but you can at least pretend to be an adult sometimes, right?"
