Who: Gia, Santi, Rius
What: Moving In
When: 9/15
Where: the boys' new apartment
Rating: low
This place was perfect. Okay, it was definitely on the top side of their budget but whatever. The three of them could make it work. It was a three bedroom apartment, with floor to ceiling windows in the living room, that looked out to the mountains. The kitchen was nothing to wag a tail at, with a large kitchen island, giving the opportunity for them to have guests over and entertain.
Santi brought in the last box and dropped it his room. He stepped out and called, "Anyone else need help bringing stuff in? Or should I call for the pizza and beer to be delivered?"
---
Rius had gaped the moment they had stepped into the apartment. The space was perfect. He had planted a huge kiss on Santi's lips as a thank you then had practically pressed himself to the windows as he stared out at the view. It had taken the other to practically pulling him away to actually get to work on the whole moving in bit.
Not far behidn Santi, Rius set another box down in his room and tilted his head as he looked things over. He really didn't have much stuff for living it seemed. Probably because he spent more time in his studio than any home. Maybe that would change now. Only time would tell.
Hearing Santi, he stepped out of the bedroom. "I vote you order pizza and beer and I'll go see if Gia needs help finishing up."
---
Gianni was muttering in a mix of languages as he balanced two boxes and found his way toward his room without somehow tripping. The boxes were full of his favorite blankets and photos from home, plenty of them candid shots taken on adventures with his father and the latest to be put into a digital frame was a selfie he’d taken with Miguel during a night out.
He smiled at the stacks of boxes in his room and felt his stomach rumble. “Did someone say pizza?!” Gia practically leaped from his bedroom door, already hungry. “Can we get extra cheese and pepperoni, please? And I’m buying!”
—
"If you are buying, then we can get whatever toppings you want," Santi said with a grin, punching in a number on his phone and handing it to Gia to make the order, "And don't forget to request the beer." Honestly, he was pretty hungry too and definitely wanted something like a meat lovers but, hey, it wasn't his dime.
He smiled to Rius as the other stepped out of his bedroom, "So we are all loving the place? Think it will get all our father's seal of approval?" All being Dominic and Carmine but still. All was important.
---
Rius changed direction when Gia came out of the bedroom. He obviously didn’t need help at this point. He should have known that Gia would likely be faster than him despite the fact he had more stuff than Rius, Rius just thought about things way too much and he was okay with that.
Joining the other two, Rius grinned and nodded quickly. “This place is perfect. You have outdone yourself Santi. Absolutely. The hard part is going to be pulling myself away from these windows.” He chuckled softly. “As for Dom?” Rius shrugged. “He’s going to pout in his way that we aren;t with him anymore. I think we all know that. But I think he’ll approve in the end.”
—-
Gianni grinned and whipped out his phone, quickly typing in to bring up the delivery ordering system for their favorite pizza place.
His brows rose as he tapped the plus button on the amounts of large meatlovers pizzas.
"Mmm...Getting Papi's approval might take time. He's sentimental, even if he tries to act like he's not." He smiled warmly at the thought of his loving father. He'd miss that company but Santi and Ruis were fun too!
"Ruis- you better share those windows. That view is freaking incredible, huh? Really, I love it. Like, this whole place looks so dope!"
---
"Should we have gotten another room for him? To come visit?" Santi asked with a playful smile. He supposed they could have always tease Uncle Dominic about his new boy. Santi had spotted his uncle with someone who was a bit younger than him. He wanted to ask but was also waiting for Uncle Dominic to share with everyone.
Santi laughed and asked, "What? Your rooms don't have amazing windows either? But yeah, it's going to be a great view all the time."
---
"I'm sure one of us can take the couch." Rius grinned at the suggestion of getting Dom his own room. He would happily give up his bed for that, if he was even around. Though he suspected with how awesome the place was there was a good chance he'd be here more. Maybe.
"The best thing about this is there's enough window for all of us and then some." Rius chuckled softly. "Don't mention the room or I'll never leave it. If I focus on THESE windows then I'll at least get this far."
---
Gia snorted softly and wrapped his arm around Rius, giving him a loving squeeze. "You better come out and say hi to me or I'm going to invade your room like a total creep." He grinned then gave the other a wink before looking to Santi. "Mmmm...You know if we gave him a room, he might stick around. You think that'd kill the party house vibes we'd talked about?" He snickered. "I can't exactly hang from the rafters if Papi is in the next room. He'll tell me I'm going to break my neck."
---
"You guys are always welcomed into my room to visit me," Santi said, "Uh, as long as I'm not busy in there. With someone. You know. We need to get a sock, I think." If he was having people over, he wanted to make sure they had privacy.
He laughed at Gia lamenting about how he couldn't hang from the rafters. He tilted his head slightly, thinking, "Not unless you have his newest distraction here. Then you can hang all you want."
---
Rius returned hte embrace and squeeze. He loved Gia like a brother. He was his brother as far as he was concerned. "Well consider it like the studio. If you don't see me for a while you might have to come looking for me." He grinned hten turned to Santi. "You just need to lock your door. Though, I suspect if you're in there with someone and you're not just playing dolls the whole floor will know it." He snorted at his own joke.
Raising an eyebrow he looked between the other two. "Okay, whats this new distraction? I feel like I've missed something."
---
Gia wrinkled his nose slightly and gave a dismissive wave at Santi. "You need to sound proof your room! I don't need live action replays of how popular you are." He chuckled.
As Ruis questioned them, Gia hummed. "Ah, well...Papi has a..uh..Well, I don't know what to call him because I don't really know what terms they are using. Anyway, a guy that comes around and, you know, they do like...stuff." He grunted and shook his head. "This is the worst subject."
---
Santi laughed at Gia's reaction to the distraction. Come on, they both had to know their father... liked to play. Santi knew that Carmine liked to play too. He heard rumours of stuff but he hadn't really sought anything out for information. Carmine wasn't the serious person type of lover anyway. He would know if he needed to.
"Sound proof, huh?" Santi said, "Well, that's not a horrible idea." He grinned wickedly, "As for Uncle Dom, I've just heard rumours around the club and whatnot."
---
Rius blinked slowly as he took in what both of them were saying. Apparently he was much more oblivious to the people he cared about than he had realized. Maybe he needed to work on that. But then again judging by Gia's reaction, maybe he was better off.
"Well, Gia, if Santi gets too popular my studio has a great couch and we know Dom will always welcome us back. We can just charge admission at the door to pay our part of hte rent." He winked at Santi.
---
Gia snorted and laughed at the thought of them collecting payment from whoever Santi brought home. “That’s actually brilliant, Rius! Santi, you could basically live rent free if you put yourself out there.” Gia snickered. “I’m sure it wouldn’t take much. You get attention real easy.” He poked at Santi’s tummy. “You got the good genes.”
Looking back to Ruis, he approached his brother and hugged him tight, nipping affectionately at his ear. “Can I crash on your couch anytime?”
—
Santi narrowed his eyes at his cousins and said, “I immediately regret suggesting we live together.” He smiled quickly to show he was kidding, mostly, he was after all. He loved his cousins fiercely and he would do anything for them. Including letting Gia poke him. For one second. Then Santi swiped at him.
“If we are counting on my looks, we could have gotten somewhere bigger,” Santi replied, “But you two are going to need to work at it too. Come on. Earn your keep.”
—-
"I mean, you might want to actually have some fun without having to worry about how much you're going ot charge." Rius grinned at Santi then returned the hug to Gia, returning the nip to his chin. "You can absolutely crash on my couch anytime." He smiled widly then smacked a loud kiss to his cheek.
"I much prefer to earn my keep with my art, thank you. Not everyone makes art with their body like you, Santi." Rius teased.
---
Gia grinned and laughed. "Hey, between the two of you? We could totally have a live art gallery!" He smirked. "But I'm really glad we're doing this. The living together thing, I mean. I think we're going to have a good time. And who knows? Maybe we can get Papi to introduce us to some new people since I guess he's like...more popular than I thought."
Shaking his head, Gia hummed. "So, how are we breaking this place in?"
--
Santi laughed at his cousins and moved over, wrapping his arms around them, holding them close. Brats, both of them.
"Why don't we have a party?" Santi suggested, "We invite our nearest and dearest," his thoughts fluttered to Oz for a moment. That didn't include him, right? That was a confusing thought, "Or some new people. See if we can get noise complaints?"
---
Rius happily added Santi to the hug and gave both of them a squeeze. It felt good and he was really excited to be doing this with the both of them. He struggled to feel isolated so being included like this meant the world.
“Sounds like a good idea to me.” Rius grinned. “Though I can’t promise I have many nearest and dearest to bring.” He chucked softly.
—-
Gianni grinned and nipped at both Rius and Santi. "Maybe we invite our friends and ask them to bring friends too. You know, pack it out. Not like we can really get into trouble, right? We're Romeros!" He snickered and grinned at them both. "Let's do it! When are we gonna have it? I'll get us some drinks! Do you guys think beer and wine coolers will be good?"
---
Santi grinned, "Definitely. Nothing like a house warming party to warm a household! Shall we do it soon? Too early to say this coming weekend? And definitely yes to beer and wine coolers. We'll keep things, well, low key in that regard. No point in anything too fancy, right?"
He really liked this idea. Or maybe he just wanted a really good reason to party.
---
Rius didn't know much about throwing a party but it all sounded fine with him. He nodded along with his two favorite people and smiled at them. "That sounds good to me. I'm not sure what I can contribute but just point me in a direction and I'll do what I can."
---
Gia grinned and nodded in agreement. "We could do like, a little mass texting to our friends. I'm totally down for this coming weekend! I'll have my room pretty well set up by then." He snickered softly. "I'm totally going to buy some plants and hope no one busts into my room and feeds them beer. But, yeah, party this weekend! Woo!"
