"I guess you are correct with that assessment," Charlie conceded. He then snorted into his coffee. "My mother doesn't really care about the money - we were comfortable growing up - and she keeps insisting that we can choose our own partners, yet she keeps pushing her choices in our path since we seem to be a bit slow."
He was starting to like Asher more and more - he had a quiet dignity about him.
"Oh, I try and decipher wizarding mysteries and their impact on the Muggle world. And of course research into dragon healing and some Quidditch history too. SO I think the bookshop will be a great place to find what I need."
"As long as you try as well," Charlie challenged. He wondered if they would build their friendship, and they were going to be friends, beyond the casual acquaintance.
Charlie shuddered. "Oh, paperwork. The bane of any bureaucracy, but wall staring can be very cathartic." With that Charlie made up his mind to alleviate Asher's dreary afternoon. "What is there to figure out?"
