RP: Happy Birthday, Oliver Wood When: December 17, 2003 Who: Alicia, Oliver and Aidan Where: Oliver’s flat Private/Public: Private, though I guess other guests could show up Rating: G Summary: It’s Oliver’s birthday.
Alicia looked at the little boy in front of her. Though she was shaking her head and trying her best to keep a straight face, she couldn’t help but smile a bit, as she watched her son, almost completely wrapped up in Spello-Tape. “How in Godric’s name did you manage all this that quickly?” she asked Aidan as she knelt down in front of him, and began picking the sticky tape off his clothes.
Aidan just looked at her, with bright eyes and a grin that told Alicia that he had enjoyed this very, very much, before he bounced a little on the balls of his small feet and clapped his hands, letting out sound of joy.
Finding a birthday present for Oliver hadn’t been hard, nor had there been much challenge in wrapping up said present or putting together a birthday cake for him. Aidan, however, had been quick, because once Alicia had turned her back on him, thinking she had put everything from the wrapping session out of reach of the excited little boy to get the cake from the oven, his fun had just started. Alicia had returned from the kitchen to find that an almost full roll of Spello-Tape easily could be entangled in Aidan’s blond hair and up and down his arms and legs.
Trying to get the tape out of his hair by pulling gently, had turned out to be a bad idea, so instead Alicia had decided that maybe it was time for Aidan to have his hair trimmed. After all, it was almost Christmas, and since today was Oliver’s birthday… always a good reason to get your hair done.
So, with a newly trimmed Aidan on her arm, Oliver’s present in Aidan’s hands and the birthday cake in Aidan’s buggy, Alicia had Apparated to his flat, and now that she had knocked, all she needed was to get Aidan to stop chewing on the corner of the present.
“Ugh, eww,” she winced, “open up, little man.” Opening her mouth to show Aidan what it was she wanted him to do, she began fishing out bits of blue wrapping paper. Huh, well, that would give her mum something to think about tomorrow when she changed his nappy.
