Cass was grateful for that at least, though he did not relax until he had the wand firmly in his hand and out of the way from George. Knowing a man was unarmed always made for calmer arrests, as wandless spells were never as powerful.
'Thank you,' he said politely as he took the wand. 'As I said you'll get it back when you can return home.' He looked around the place that was this home. It was dark, and in the gloom he could just make out the contours of a bottle and a glass. He didn't say anything, just added it to his observations.
'We can Apparate to the Atrium and walk from there,' he said, opting not to use the portkey that was in his pocket. It was easier, as it got whomever was arrested directly to the holding cells but they were also kept track of. It was better not to use one unless he had to.
Taking a firm, but not hard, grip around George's arm, he nodded. 'Ready?' he asked, then he Apparated them both to the Atrium where he let George go. 'This way,' he said, gesturing towards the lifts.
