Michael smiled. It wasn't the answer he'd expected at all. However, if Cho thought the best part of the trip was returning home, obviously it had not been the type of experience one wanted to discuss. "Well, I'm glad you're back, then," he answered. Shifting his weight, Michael wondered why Cho would stay overseas for so long. Five years was a long time! Perhaps it had been a job. Perhaps a family member was sick. There were lots of possible reasons, but Michael didn't feel comfortable asking.
"So, what are you up to now that you're back in England?" he asked, cocking his head to the side. It looked as though Cho had been dressed for some sort of job. Surely she wouldn't dress like that for everyday occasions. So perhaps she had come back to work in the country. Maybe even at the Ministry. Michael had to admit it wouldn't be a bad thing to see her around at work.
