Re: Charlie and Bill
Charlie nodded as he completed Bill's sentence in his head. "I know," was all he said. "At least someone can make him happy."
He thanked Bill for reminding him of Fleur's favourite and smiled when he looked around to see where their mother and his wife were before taking a nip from the flask as well. "Thanks, mate. I'll remember that," he said. It's not like he didn't have his own cottage at the reserve, albeit small, to stay, but he really enjoyed Bill and Fleur's company.
Charlie nodded. "I totally agree, but you try and convince Mum about that one. Oh, and then there was the whole thing about Ginny's job and her not being married. Bill, I was ready to scream with frustration." Charlie really didn't understand his mother's obsession with all of them married and having kids.
Charlie had the good grace to look embarrassed and sorry for that. "Sorry, mate. I really didn't mean it like that, though I panicked when she pressed me about the various girls she thinks I should date or settle down with. I'm not ready for that kind of thing," Charlie said. "Don't know if I'll ever settle down," he mumbled more to himself than admitting anything to Bill.
"Trying? Or succeeding?" he asked with a waggle of his eyebrows and a grin in his lips. "We are," Charlie laughed, "you're the one that got married. The rest of us are just biding our time."
