"I'm not sure I can help you with the talking part, but if it becomes too bad, let me know, and I'll see what I can do," he said. "I can't kill them, but maybe we can find some legal precedent to keep the reporters away from her. Otherwise, there's always the option to get someone to protect her. I'm sure we could find a few Aurors who would be willing to make some extra money to protect her."
Percy shook his head. "It doesn't matter anymore, but for what it's worth, my problem is always been with them not you. They trusted Dumbledore blindly, never cared that he didn't seem to give a rat's arse about Ginny or Ron's welfare. I tried to convince Ron and Ginny to be more careful, but I didn't know what else to do, and Dad-" He ran his fingers through his hair. "I'm not good enough, they hired me for my name, that's what he told me, because he was so high up at the Ministry, right? They think me showing up was an admission of guilt or something to that effect. I was there, because it was the right thing to do, not because I agreed with them."
He looked at Fleur, imagining the scene, and chuckling. "She is good enough for both of you," he teased.
