"Well, fine." He pushes a hand through his hair, glancing at Zel through his eyebrows. His voice is losing much of its bluster as Zel seems to calm. "Maybe he can," then, quickly, "If it wasn't my elbow I could do it myself." He looks at Zel again, silently. He rubs absently at his nose.
