"He very likely has his own, you know," he points out. "Well enough, but you needn't store them if you don't like to; the large ones are useful for finding patterns in, but the smaller ones are enough if you only want to examine one memory at a time."
"Locked me," he repeats in a quietly, intensely, dangerous voice, "in a room with a werewolf with a grudge."
Severus shrugs. "Any number of reasons, although it wasn't Britain's idea. Fudge was pretending he didn't believe the Dark Lord was back, but was reaching out to other nations in case it was true, the Headmaster and Lucius both wanted a chance to court Beauxbatons and be sure of Igor. He didn't drown, no; shark's head, as I said, and there were precautions in place that the students didn't know about. If I accio one, it'll either be muggle or alert a wizard; the last one I owned is probably Slytherin Common Room property now."
sorrysorry for the delay on this! Sev's tantrum was not improved by my PMS or by Rus Being Patient With Him or calling Albus names; I couldn't tackle this one without him frothing for a while. Awwwww, facenap! I had an office set up in a basement for about a year. It was infested by daddy long legses, and so freezing in the winter I got physically sick. I was able to coexist with the psuedo-spiders, but not very easily... So?!?! (loans him a pair of chopsticks) "I just hate people."
