"And it won't be alive," he reminds him. "It won't be gallumphing at all. It will be sitting there quietly holding a mirror. But we can make the cloak rather than the fur green," he concedes magnanimously.
"I need my assistant for potions-related things. Including the register, yes, and I wouldn't mind a display case of pastries, but they really ought not to be the focus."
