He shrugs. "We were near a good forest in any case. Not terribly diverse in its animal population, but a good gathering wood." He shoots Rus a querying eye, although it occurs to him a moment later that maybe he doesn't really want so much to know about Young Rodolphus's Nature Tramps.
"...It is difficult to credit," he agrees, "but I'll try."
"Yes, but not if it had a trace on. I did revise a lot. And got my ink spilled for me a lot," he shrugs.
"I suppose it might be worth asking if they'd send out a few things of a morning," he concedes. "Do you think they would, though? One presumes they'd like to keep their customers..."
"Yes, and that's why he stopped when I did," he drily agrees with Rus's tone. He snerks a bit. "Be expensive, you know."
