Severus gives Rus a headachy look. "You know, sometimes I think you're joking, and sometimes I think I really ought never to eat with you except at the pub."
The thought of mentioning how good Mundungus Fletcher was at getting rid of said spells crosses his mind--rapidly, and is soon gone. "Oh? I didn't realize they had group cells as well as solitary."
"Experimentation," he replies, with just a tinge of dreaminess. "They'd be fascinating to work with--aspects of Venus and Saturn, most likely, maybe earth. Feathers with earth and saturnine aspects are fairly rare, you know. You get earth with ostrich feathers, but they're a bit martial and solar; not dark at all."
"I really, really haven't," he answers. "I don't actually remember offering to make gingerbread men, you know. Silly things. I might be induced to make a frosted spice cake."
Severus, while they're gaping at Rus, amuses himself by flicking darts into the air, apparently at random, and snuffing six of the little candles on the tables.
Oh, she must win perforce, for she has a little tiny face. ^,^ (snrk) Careful, Val doesn't need a wand... Oh dear! You'll have to let me know how it goes! --Hm, unless my friends have time to see it when we get together... (plots) Tiny little gingerbread bodies in tableaus on the crust! >:D Although I'm not sure how well the filling would go with the pie... OH! I have a wonderful cake. It's from Trader Joe's. It is soooo good. It is spicy and eggnoggy and moist and has dried cranberries and crystalized ginger on.
