"Or a prehistoric sea creature," Rus agrees, giving Sev a strange look. "And he was torn," he continues his story. "Should he try to fix the thing or should he just pretend nothing had happened? If you could have seen him, it would have delighted you. He was one of those over-pompous oiks that only the English seem to produce. I think we grow them in old mines somewhere."
"No." He shakes his head. "Never. Is that important?"
Rus is very tempted to join in, but his singing scares small children (and he has used that fact effectively in the past), but he just grins. "Never heard you sing before," he comments.
He shoots Sev a 'this is me you're talking to' look. "This is cunning! For them. They're bullies. That one," he nods at T1, "is a cut above the usual, but I'd wager even he has people he answers to." He shrugs casually. "If you want to turn them into penguins, go right ahead. I'm sure penguin feathers (do penguins have feathers?) must be useful in some sort of potion."
