"I've picked," Rus tells him curtly. "I'm working on it." He's about to open his mouth to agree but he's taken aback by the expression on Severus' face. He mostly tries to ignore the memories of the dementors or keep so busy that they fade to the background, but they're always there. "I'll do whatever you say," he says, placing his other hand on top of Severus'. "You just tell me what, when and how."
"Not if there's a big bad wolf anywhere about," he comments, grinning (it must be said) wolfishly.
Rus, who is the bullier rather than the bulli-ee, can't help but admire Severus in action.
Rus snorts so hard he has to get his hanky. He takes another drink.
Rus and Alf are staring at Severus and T2 looks as if he'd like to crawl under the table. T1 listens impassively, realising he's misjudged the situation. He's a thug, yes, but he's the smart one. "Well then, I apologise for disturbing you." He inclines his head slightly. "Please continue your game." He wiggles a finger at Alf and T2. "Shall we retire to the bar so these gentlemen can continue their game in peace?" T2 is on his feet like a shot. Alf looks disappointed (he gets a cut for finding them, plus whatever markup he makes on the drinks), but he starts away too. "Enjoy your game gentlemen." T1's teeth gleam in a smile.
Rus watches them leave. "And I thought I was the bad actor here," he drawls at Severus. "Shall we call them back and tel them we've changed our minds?"
*snort* *grabs tissue* Apparently, we're just supposed to eat applesauce and oatmeal while we're wearing. Well, I do like them both, but will confess to a preference for Sev. The voice is what does it though. :D My Dad is already making disparaging remarks. He never goes to movies. And the BBC, not to be outdone by the upstart Americans, is making their own Holmes movie. Dunno anything about the guy playing Holmes, but Gareth David-Lloyd (Ianto from Torchwood) is playing Watson. My comment on hearing this was: 'He's got the blank stare down.' :/
