"Just one of the advantages of having me for an older brother," he grins. "He was a coward," Rus says bluntly. "But he served his Master to the best of his ability." That counts for a lot with him. "In what way?"
"Do you," Rus bats the question back.
"Sorry," he says, not sounding sorry at all. He watches Todd through narrowed eyes, considering.
"What? It snapped too loudly and scared him?" Rus asks with a disbelieving laugh. "He wasn't that bad." He picks up his mug. "Battles are often won by judicious applications of both." He takes a deep drink. "You're braver than you realise, putting up with nonsense like that." He raises his mug in a toast to Severus. "Wonderful!" he gloats. "I shall look him up directly when I get back."
I'm sort of keeping him shielded from that. He's got too much to do to be distracted trying to re-enact Beowulf. Just as well he doesn't go to movies. :D
