"That's a very good point," Rus grins. "No, Rab was more of a schemer than a fighter. He didn't really need to fight though, did he? Not with me about." He snorts contemptuously. "I may be a cannibal, but at least I never betrayed anyone. Of course," he goes on thoughtfully. "If he hadn't, things would have worked out differently. But still, it meant you couldn't trust him. Betrayal gets to be a habit."
"I wouldn't even try to describe it to you," Rus says bleakly. "I'll destroy the world before I'll go back."
"I think it's rather charming," Rus can't help but smile when Todd avoids looking at Severus. He nods his thanks to the man. "He's smart too. I'll wager he'd be easy to train."
"That's what courage is," he shrugs. "Doing what has to be done, no matter what. Draco," he hesitates, "was unused to hardship." He shakes his head. "It wasn't an easy thing to ask of a child." Rus beams. "Do you think so? Well, maybe I can persuade him otherwise."
Sat down and read it, no. He doesn't really read a lot. :( It's not a good idea to let him read/hear stuff like that anyway. It gives him too many ideas. :)
