"No," Rus answers, perplexed. "I'm not musical at all, you know that. Rab's cats could carry a tune better than me." He laughs again, though not quite as loudly as before. "I hope he didn't puke on your shoes."
"So, mad-in-the-forest-for-years...got that covered." He looks away from the concern on Severus' face.
"Er, yes, I suppose so. I've never done it," Rus tells him. "Not when you looked at him like that he wouldn't," he says decisively. "If he'd been considering it, you probably scared him so badly he forgot. He didn't need to," Rus explains. "I held up a finger and did this:" he mimes drinking again. "He picked up on it right away. Not bad for a muggle."
Picking up the bit I dropped last comment. :( "Perhaps not wobbles," he agrees. But he disturbed you yes? And if he disturbed you, just imagine what effect he might have on the unsuspecting."
