"No," Rus shrugs. "But he was a nasty piece of work. I would have enjoyed gutting him."
Rus laughs on, not caring about parapets or that he's being stared at. "I told you it was a bad idea to make a wizard that powerful angry. I wish I could have seen it," he adds wistfully.
"I couldn't act that simple," he corrects himself. Really though, Rus respects the Hufflepuffs. Far more than the Gryffindors who are all bluster and bravado.
"No," Rus says, not sure if he should be disturbed or amused. "This tall fellow reminds you of a thestral?"
"Together they're stronger than their parts," he comments sententiously. "It holds an edge well," he answers.
