Severus shrugs. "He was able to accurately assess the danger and interest levels of and necessary precautions for handling the animals in his lesson plans, which is why he was the one to occasionally need limbs re-attached, rather than his students. I'll say that for him." Interested, "Did you? What did you do to her?"
"There's a reason predators aren't usually food animals," he comments.
"Yes, yes," Severus drawls, amused. "And lo, I have witnessed and seen."
He pulls a little, black, leatherbound book that resembles a Bradshaw's more than anything else out of a coat pocket and consults it. "United States... Kentucky... 264...." he flips pages. "...Ah. Pennyroyal. Latitude 37.84, Longitude -84.27." He taps the book with his wand, and a picture of grassy, mildly floral hills appears above it. "And there's the veiled apparition point."
