"I'm thinking of the floors in here as well," Rus tells him with an absolutely evil smile.
"Oh." It's a deflated vowel sound of disappointment. "I thought you meant something else." Shrug.
Rus chews thoughtfully. "I might," he finally concedes. "But that doesn't mean I'm going to stop looking," he adds defiantly. "All right," he says, understanding. "That works." He likes the description 'paying for their lives with their bits'. "They won't be," Rus shakes his head. "Let the word get out about what you do and you'll have the rich and powerful beating down your door. You can charge them double for keeping quiet."
Rus' smiles clearly says Point to me then. "In my spare time," he says. "And money is money."
"Well then, that'll be my first quest," he tells Severus. "There's zoo's around here right?" He shakes his head and swallows. "Three weeks. I remember that much. That's why I asked now. I need it for Halloween." He picks up his mug and takes a drink, watching Severus over the rim.
