He should actually have a pretty good idea after one week -- possession shows up in more obvious ways than damage, after all -- but neither Sirius nor Remus say anything in case it does end up taking longer.
"I mean," Sirius says, clarifying, "that it is possible to do it without anybody other than you seeing the images. You can record the images yourself," -- which is an indirect confirmation that it's possible to make the arrangements in Margate itself -- "and then ask someone else what you need to look for. Or I can ask someone else what you need to look for."
"It's less like reading x-rays and more like interpreting dreams. How often you remember your dreams, and how often you have a particular dream or how often you dream about a particular thing is just as important as what you actually dream about," Remus adds.
"I can do it, but like I said earlier, it can emotionally and mentally invasive," Sirius says neutrally, with a shrug built into the inflection to indicate that it's up to Q.#
Am back!
# Sirius doesn't mind doing it, but since their last conversation didn't end well, and Q also suspected that Sirius might have been the one to do something to his chair, Sirius isn't sure that Q actually wants him to do it :)
