Q manages a small smile. "No, I meant that in three weeks I'd have a pretty good idea if there was anyone else inside my head but me. I'm perfectly willing to go the whole seven weeks."
He listens thoughtfully to Remus. "Well, I'd hardly be an objective observer," he comments. "But it's like reading x-rays right? Not tea leaves? Or is it sort of a combination of both?" Q hunches a bit as Remus goes on. That's kind of what he'd figured. Still, if it means he'll be sure that Voldemort is gone, it'll be worth it. "I'd really rather not go to St Mungos, even if I say I'm doing it for research purposes. I mean, such a long and rather unusual procedure would be bound to draw attention that I'd prefer not to deal with." He takes a deep breath. "Can you do it?" he asks Sirius. "Here? Get all the paraphernalia and such that you'd need?" He swallows. "I know I'm asking a lot of you Sirius, and if you don't want to, I'll understand."
