"You don't act in ways that will lead to your being left alone," Xellos informs him, "and you chose it when you pointed without giving information. A result of being able to do nothing but running while running."
"Learn," he says brutally, and puts pressure on the finger again, "and don't think you can be insolent just because I can't see your face. Yes," he adds unapologetically, "I am bullying you. You invite it. Your whole bearing makes it nearly impossible for others to treat you in any other way, whether they mean you good or ill.
"And no, they're not the same thing. You're taking this lesson because I don't want you breaking all my crockery, and you're taking this portion of it because I've gone soft and don't like to see a prey animal whose fur has grown into a target shape toddling around with its hooves all tangled in a briar patch. That's not even sporting. You're learning to run like this for three reasons. First, it's more aerodynamic, which will let you run faster once you're used to it, even if it doesn't feel that way right now because you're using less energy without all that arm-pumping. Secondly, it's a smoother running style, which will let you take stock of your surroundings. Thirdly, as I said, it leaves your hands free for your use in case you need them. Obviously you need to work on doing other things without losing speed, but we can work on talking before hand-using things."
