Albus muses a moment. "No, at times I did not. However, somehow, I knew. When I was...well, I suppose when I was dead. Arriving here was like waking up, and recalling fractions of a rather fuzzy dream. Odd in itself."
He raises an eyebrow again, giving the other man a look as he sits, and then looking over to the existing bench not far away from them. He frowns at the bite marks, and then gives his arm a quick squeeze. "I'm very sorry. But grateful that you found a way to survive. Ah, the wand. I suppose I should have seen that coming. Again, hindsight."
He is silent for a moment, mulling over what's been said, and then chuckling. "Harry...and Draco. Yes? I'm implying correctly? I think, had I suggested such a thing to either in my lifetime, I would have been killed much sooner."
"Hmm, this town sounds very singular indeed. It will bear more investigation. I do love a good mystery," his eyes twinkle with amusement again. He regards Severus' features carefully a moment, before continuing. "Interesting indeed. I suppose we could quiz each other for differences, but I hardly see the point at the moment. If we are in fact, different...I'm sure we will discover it as we go along. But in the most vital ways, I would guess that we remain the same, or we would not be speaking as casually."
"Monthly oddities? Well, now you'll have to tell me more. I am, of course, infinitely curious."
