To say that Rincewind is nervous would be an understatement of almost Biblical proportions. Still, he's determined to get things right. He frowns, struggling to recall Ivonka's instructions, clouded as they are by his fear of her. One thing he does remember (because of the novelty of it) is that the customer is always right. And he can relate to boring. Rincewind LIKES boring. "V-very good sir," he squeaks. "Boring it is. Are you sure you wouldn't care to try the potatoes? Can't get much more boring than potatoes." Belatedly, he pulls the pad and pen given to him to take orders out of his pocket.
