The Sheriffs Department was a buzz of activity when Murphy had shown up. The LT in her twitched to see everyone running around in chaos, but experience had her stand back and watch for a bit. Closer inspection proved that what on the surface looked like chaos was in fact intense focus under pressure. Someone finally noticed her and offered some hurried assistance. She made it brief. Just asked for an application and a quiet place out of the way to fill it out.
There were parts that would be difficult to explain. She assumed her Chicago wasn't this world's Chicago so she probably wasn't even in the system. Murph always believed in the power of truth so she filled in everything accurately...including having a wizard on the payroll as a consultant for the weird. She smirked a little as she imagined what this Sheriff Stilinski would make of that!
After, she handed the paperwork to the first Deputy that didn't seem to be on the phone, their cell and the computer all at the same time then left before she was too tempted to get involved. The cop in her wanted to help, but she had no authority here. If she wanted that to change while she was apparently displaced she had to play by the rules. Damn it.
Murph waited outside for the girl she was supposed to meet. She was hoping to get more information and a lay of the land from this Allison. She'd expected a typical teenager, one who knew more about the weird than others, but a girl like Molly nonetheless. She was caught entirely by surprised when the girl that came walking up moved like someone who could kick your ass three ways to Sunday. "...geezus.."
She straightened, but still had to look up. Murphy was used to that. "I am. You're Allison?"
