Who: Lydia, Open When: Sunday, right around 2pm Where: Wal-Mart Super Center What: Lydia needed to grab a couple things and got a little distracted
Lydia was shuffling around Wal-Mart, walking up and down every aisle, wasting time. She rocked her little basket back and forth and bopped her head in time to the music that played over the loud speakers. Every other aisle or so she'd be stopped by someone she knew, they'd chat a little, and then she'd continue on to the next aisle. All the while making sure she got everything that was on her list. So far she'd gotten a bottle of engine oil, toothpaste, vanilla body spray, and a bottle of sprite.
Lydia had done a good job of sticking to her list, until she turned into the pet section. It started innocently, she grabbed a couple bones for the dogs and so she had to grab something for the cat. Then she continued through the pet section, mostly ignoring the fish wall. It only ever seemed to have goldfish, and she couldn't say she was interested in them. But she apparently hadn't ignored it enough. Soon she found herself oohing over the different bettas they had on display.
She was completely entranced by them, but she couldn't decided if she wanted the little blue and red one, or the little yellowish orange one. She kept picking up one little container, looking over the fish, then setting it down and picking up the other.
