Do certain dates ever still click in your head of, 'oh my gosh, this is the day we were running for our lives.' Or 'this is the day we caught and rode a chocobo, just because we needed to either laugh or cry'?
I still have those days. I have them all the time. I think it might be worse right now because we're coming up on the ten year mark. Like.
Zell, Selphie? Ten years ago today, we were cell-mates. We were in prison together. And I try so hard not to think about it, but it's there. I couldn't sleep, moved to check my phone, saw the date, and boom. Just remembered everything. In a few days Rinoa and Irvine are going to show up to save us.
We really were saved. We really did win. We really are living normal lives ten years later.
Some days that hits me harder than others.
Ignore the 3 AM ramblings of a sleep deprived woman.
