Well there was the answer on who this woman was. Sort of. But she hadn't answered any of her questions about the Originals, or Marcel. Selective answering? She listened, but wasn't sure she believed. This woman wasn't lying about her power, that was more than obvious. She seemed to believe her own story was true. So Bonnie was just going to have to ask Sophie if she knew anything about a Queen Witch that lived outside the city in her own kingdom.
Quickly as they had vanished, the patrons in the bar were back. A knot in Bonnie's stomach loosened. Everyone seemed unharmed. Though now it was harder to hear the other witch, with the music back. Standing up, she made her way closer to the woman, finding another empty seat closer, but still at bit of a distance.
"We're all trapped here, until someone can undo the spell. Which is 'forbidden' under Marcel's rule, if that's what you want to call it. So I know I am going to be looking for a way to undo it, because what is happening here goes against the very laws of nature. Balance has to be restored." Bonnie had to go back to being dead, even if she had to give life up all over again. That was the price, and she had to pay it.
Bonnie sat back in her chair, looking around at the patrons. "This ban on magic is new here, I think, and I know the witches aren't going to take it for much longer. At least I can't see them putting up with this. Something has to be coming, just so you're warned. And if any vampires track you down for using magic tonight? At least now you'll know why." As powerful as the woman was, she still deserved a warning, even if the vampires wouldn't stand a chance. "My name is Bonnie, by the way. Bonnie Bennett. I'm from Virgina, and I have no desire to be stuck here either."
