Mai didn't acknowledge Azula's entrance into her room. The door thrown open didn't startle her anymore as she'd been witness to it a few times already. Once the Princess addressed her, she blinked one, letting a pause settle between them in order for the ulterior motive behind Azula's query to show itself. Mai didn't want to hesitate too much, though, lest she arouse suspicion. "I have a bed, and my shoes are off. That in itself makes the day better than the one before." Mai rolled onto her side to face Azula, which revealed that her hair was no longer tied up in buns or pulled back from her face. Rather, it was loose and cascading over her shoulders like a curtain. "I learned that the food here is bland. The toys for little boys most likely result in jammed fingers. And we could be as loud as we want here and not draw attention."
