Mai sighed through her nose and rolled her eyes. "Isn't that the truth..." She muttered. She then looked to Ty Lee, and in a soft huff, leaned against a tree. She pulled out one of her knives and toyed with it. "Considering the rush she was in to get us on the move, you'd think we'd take this opportunity to recoup and restock..."
The young noblewoman started to press her fingertip to the tip of the knife's blade, letting her flesh sink beneath the pressure, yet never breaking skin. "Honestly. We're not vagabonds or runaways. We shouldn't have to 'rough it' for the sake of 'the mission'..." She finger-quoted the last two words while holding the knife between her middle and ring finger.
