Who: Gavin and Kadie

When: Thursday, May 6th - Evening

It had been a miserable wet and stormy day and Gavin and Kadie had to work in it until early in the evening, when they'd clocked off. Gavin was glad that they both seemed to have the following day off, as he wasn't sure how long the storm would last (not that he hated the weather, but working in it was a bitch). Once their shift had ended, Gavin had invited Kadie over for dinner with him and his daughter, Boo, which she accepted.

Right now the three of them were sitting on the couch watching the TV; Boo sandwiched between them as she cuddled to her father's side and dozed. She wasn't like most children, who were afraid of thunderstorms. In fact, she fell quickly asleep to them. Gavin looked down at his sleeping daughter and smiled, lightly brushing a hand through her hair (which caused her to cuddle closer to him). He looked over at Kadie and gave her a wry smile. "Mind helping me put her to bed?"

Where: Their Home
When: Thursday, May 6th - Afternoon/Early Evening

Mal had had an awful day, all told. It had been storming all day and the seas were rough, tossing him about in his boat and making any kind of work difficult. He was also very lucky that he'd hired William, as the man had literally saved him from going overboard and who knew what would have happened to him then. After parking his car in the garage, he made his way through the house sluggishly, pulling off his soaking clothes as soon as he reached the bathroom. He was absolutely miserable and felt the beginnings of a migraine coming on.
