Fresh blood!
Hi everyone!

I'm Emily, and I'm friends with Lilly and I am very, very nervous to be in a panfandom game, so please be patient with me as I learn this strange new world! Lilly says you're nice though, and I trust her recommendation completely.

I play a lot of Marvel babies but Endgame broke me and I am still recovering, so in the meantime here is Irene Adler from BBC's Sherlock! She only really appears in one episode of the series, but I adore her so I'm psyched to play her here. Some things to know about her:

Dominatrix by trade, with a high-profile client list that includes all genders
Ridiculously confident
Can appear very vulnerable
Actually very guarded
Manipulative as hell
Almost beat Sherlock Holmes at his own game one time, except then she fell a little bit in love with him and it threw her off said game, which would have killed her except then he saved her life. And now they're friends. Sort of. They might or might not have slept together after said life-saving. It's unclear.
She's going to show up in town basically naked, in heels, and holding a riding crop, so that'll be fun xD

I am not entirely sure what would be the best actual position for her here, but I'm happy to play for a while and figure that out! But do hit me up esp if you have an awkward character and you think it'd be funny if someone flirted with/at them, bc she's great at that. Also if your character is the type to wish to be "recreationally scolded" occasionally she will probably be down for that, too. For a price.

Hello Emily! Welcome to the game! I'm Mal I've got too many characters, but any and every would be happy to interact with Irene!

First here is Klause Hargreeves - from Umbrella Academy, he runs a sort of bodega out of his house with his brothers, and is generally sort of helpful and a bit of a flirt.
Tony Stark - he's a little one, not the one from the movies, he's from the defunct mobile game Avengers Academy, he's a little less sure of himself than the big one, a little more of a spaz.
Peter B. Parker - from Into the Spider Verse, he's not that Peter Parker, but he's doing his best. He helps to run Pancho's bar with Carol, and he makes pizza.
America Chavez - she's from the marvel comics, she's annoyed about being here, frustrated with her powers not working fully and generally a grump.
Barbara Gordon - from DC Comics, she's batgirl, but unlike the other supers who have been pretty open about their dual identities she's been keeping hers a secret. She just lost her friends and is feeling a bit down about that, and helping to get the library going with Natasha and Remus.
Kitty Pryde - from the marvel X-Men comics, she's newish still getting a feel for the place, doing her best to look out for her fellow mutants and figuring out where she belongs here.

And then my newest that I haven't intro'd yet
Nebula - from the MCU. she'll be arriving shortly fresh off the end of Endgame.

Can't wait to write with you! Looking forward to seeing Irene in action.

Hi Mal! I have def experienced the Too Many Characters problem (though not for a long time) so I sympathize!

I will be real and say that I'm not familiar with the canons for most of yours, but they all sound cool! And Irene will def relate to being frustrated to be here, and I think she'll maybe be drawn to Barbara? Still waiting to see how she responds to all the magic stuff, though I think the mutants in particular might freak her out a little >>

NEBULA. Endgame broke my heart in many ways, but I was glad to see more of Nebula. She's great. And as I said to someone above, Irene's good with morally ambiguous types so I think they might get along.

It happens when everyone around is a great writer and you just wanna keep getting more, it's a real struggle.

No worries about not knowing their canons, most of them will be only too happy to tell Irene about themselves a bit more if she's interested but otherwise their canon isn't all that important in the grand scheme of things. I bet the magic and stuff will be a trip for her, at least mine have all come from places where that's fairly normal so you know - it's not as much to take in for them.

Endgame was just a nightmare in a lot of ways for me, I'm still broken after seeing it, but Nebula, man I loved being able to get more of her and the interactions she had - they were just *air kiss*.

I'm excited to see Irene around, and see how she reacts to all the newness that surrounds her :D

Lilly told me everyone was a fantastic writer which was one of the things that attracted me to the game! Always great to be where the great people are <3

Irene will be SO GRATEFUL for the relative normalcy. She's going to put a premium on that pretty fast, I think. She's gonna be soooooo confused and overwhelmed.

AND YES. Endgame was such a heartbreak but oh man was Nebula great.
