Fresh blood!
Hi everyone!

I'm Emily, and I'm friends with Lilly and I am very, very nervous to be in a panfandom game, so please be patient with me as I learn this strange new world! Lilly says you're nice though, and I trust her recommendation completely.

I play a lot of Marvel babies but Endgame broke me and I am still recovering, so in the meantime here is Irene Adler from BBC's Sherlock! She only really appears in one episode of the series, but I adore her so I'm psyched to play her here. Some things to know about her:

  • Dominatrix by trade, with a high-profile client list that includes all genders
  • Ridiculously confident
  • Can appear very vulnerable
  • Actually very guarded
  • Manipulative as hell
  • Almost beat Sherlock Holmes at his own game one time, except then she fell a little bit in love with him and it threw her off said game, which would have killed her except then he saved her life. And now they're friends. Sort of. They might or might not have slept together after said life-saving. It's unclear.
  • She's going to show up in town basically naked, in heels, and holding a riding crop, so that'll be fun xD

I am not entirely sure what would be the best actual position for her here, but I'm happy to play for a while and figure that out! But do hit me up esp if you have an awkward character and you think it'd be funny if someone flirted with/at them, bc she's great at that. Also if your character is the type to wish to be "recreationally scolded" occasionally she will probably be down for that, too. For a price.

Lilly is lovely, and if you're anywhere near as awesome, you'll fit right in (which you do already because Sherlock is amazing). I'm Anne. I said hi in the chat, but this might be a bit easier to keep up with since the chat sometimes gets zany.

Also, I love how you have her showing up already because I love for chaos.

Anyway, here's my list. As always, lemme know if you have anyone that strikes your fancy for plot:

Carol Danvers (MCU): Captain Marvel herself. Carol comes just before Endgame, and has settled into town running the local bar with one of the Peter Parkers (the oldest one). She's sarcastic, bull-headed, and flirtatious. Sort of a 15 year old boy inside. She's also a little bit bossy and hates not having control. Being stuck in Starklandia has been hard on her.

Miles Morales (Spider-Verse): Miles is your typical teenager, except for the fact he's Spider-Man. He comes in shortly after the film, literally having been on a walk home from school. Currently, he's living with the older Peter Parker (who he knows from the movie) and killing time by working at COFFEE and practicing street art. He's awkward but friendly. He'd be terrified of Irene.

The Doctor (DW): The Thirteenth Doctor is friendly and outgoing, and has basically been spending her time trying to do what she can to figure out the mystery of this place and help people adjust to living here. That or helping Rose get out of trouble. Or into trouble. It depends on the day.

Harley Quinn (DCEU): Harley will love Irene once she figures out what she actually is. Well, she might also hate her considering their similar natures. Right now, Harley's been causing little bits of trouble around town here and there, but mostly biding her time as she watches and plots. The worst she's done is kill a few people on the other side of the doors and break some windows around town (oops).

Obi-Wan Kenobi (SW): Ben is stand-offish for now. He's been through the doors only once, but since meeting Leia he's been trying to figure out how to get out of here and back to their own universe and times. He comes from shortly after he watched his protege burn after a battle, so he's a bit emotionally damaged. He'd be suspicious of Irene, for sure (but still friendly).

Why thank you, she is awesome, there is no better Natasha on this server.

I feel like Irene would be very chill with Carol. They're of a kind, though obvs Carol's wayyyy more powerful. Irene would be fascinated by that, I think.

She would probably leave Miles and Ben alone, though being terrified and/or suspicious of her is prob a v appropriate reaction to Irene tbh.

OKAY SO CONFESSION I do not watch Dr. Who (there was just so much canon and I'm a completionist and it made me weep inside. BUT THIRTEEN SEEMS GREAT ALREADY and Irene will be privately relieved to have another Brit around? (Even though The Doctor is actually an alien....). Regardless is DEFINITELY amuses me that The Doctor is the first person to introduce herself since Irene has a similar (though obviously self-appointed) title xD

And DUDE we should totally throw Irene and Harley together since I can't decide if they'd love or hate each other and that intrigues me (Also I love DCEU Harley so much. Suicide Squad was a mess, but Harley was great.)

Lilly's amazing. I can write paragraphs about this, but she gets bored with all the gushing.

Yeah, Irene and Carol are the kinda people that might "get" each other. Which is scary for Carol- or will be when she figures out what sort of person Irene is, lol. Carol's going through a bit of an existential crisis- you've been warned.

Miles and Ben appreciate it, lol. For now, at least.


And yes! We have a Rose, too! Did you see? She's wonderful! And Thirteen will very much enjoy to hang around another Brit- well, another person with a British accent, anyway.

Sweet! Harley is always wanting to cause trouble. I'm trying to find a balance for her- between trying not to get herself killed or locked up and being legit insane. I'm always open to constructive feedback for her, lol.

I, too, could do this. She's great and we have been friends for many a year.

I feel like they really would get each other, which would freak Irene out a little bit too since she doesn't really have friends. Especially female ones.

I did see, yes! Thirteen is already being very helpful and sane. I am impressed by Irene's calm so far, though she's going to be significantly less calm when the MAGIC AND ALIENS stuff starts popping up. Also the weird time issues. Pls explain timey-wiminess to her, Thirteen. (Okay I know like, four things about Doctor Who.)

I totally get that, Harley is... insane. Literally >> I'm excited to see her in play though! Irene respects any woman who can misbehave.

Haha, neither did Carol! Well, except Maria (which was her only close female friendship before Nat). Now she's close to Nat, but doesn't really understand women in general. So clearly Carol and Irene need to be friends. Duh.

You're doing great!!! Don't get her started, though. She will go into a long explanation about multi-dimensional theory and space/time conundrums. I can't stop her.

Oh, Harley is legit crazy. It's fun! I don't know whether she actually hears voices or not, but she enjoys letting other people THINK she does.

Ugh Carol and Maria's friendship in that movie was wonderful. And yes! I would love for Irene to be part of the "I didn't have many female friends before this" club.

I guess the good news is that Irene is rather used to having complicated concepts explained to her by smart people?? Also I would be super down to thread them at Pancho's, though I should really go to bed in a minute because work in the morning (ugggh) so I could set something up / tag something back tomorrow?

Yessss she SOUNDS fun and I'd be about seeing them interact in some way!

Their relationship is <3. I admit I play Marie as Carol's lost love of her life (for tragic reasons that are never fully explained in game). But Carol is DEFINITELY in the awkward female friends club...club.

Definitely should thread them. Can you set something up and I'll throw up a tag. Wanna ask Mal (Peter) if she wants to thread in there with Irene, too? Up to you!

This makes total sense to me, they were super close in that movie.

I'll absolutely ask her, yeah!! And I prob won't be able to set it up until tomorrow since my brain is powering down, but I'll get on it when I wake up!
