Howdy y'all! Newbie here and I'm bringing you Kevin Beckman from the 2016 reboot of Ghostbusters. He doesn't have any special powers unless you count the fact that graphic design is his passion. Do you have a company logo to which you would like giant boobies added? Kevin is the guy to call!

Repeatedly, mind you, because he often forgets to answer the phone.

As a character and as a writer, we're up for anything. I just can't guarantee results with Kevin. He's the broken clock that gives the correct time twice a day. Do things work out for him sometimes? Sure, but it's a crap shoot. You're getting a mascot/cheerleader instead of a competent co-worker. He also comes equipped with a service dog meant to keep him on task. Everyone please be nice to Mike Hat.

So that's about it. Let me know what tom foolery we can get up to because I'm here for it.

Hi! I'm Kei and I have a love/hate relationship with Marvel Comics. I play

• Sam Wilson, who has a love/hate relationship with being Captain America, talks to birds, and is struggling with anger and guilt issues because everything at home is fucked up. He's trying to act like his normal chill self though.
• Ororo Munroe, who kind of decided she was going to be in charge of the gardens now, is super weirded out that the MCU doesn't have any mutants, and is currently not also an Asgardian god.
• Laura Kinney aka Weapon Hex, a crack mashup of X-23 (teenage girl clone of Wolverine) and Scarlet Witch who's 18 years old and has spent like her entire life minus 1-2 months being raised in a demon-worshipping cult to be the vessel of the god Mephicthton. She has claws and chaos magic and doesn't know anything about people but she's trying really hard!

If Sam needs to borrow Kevin's service dog, that's always an option! Ororo is and always will be my favorite Marvel character. Also, my first crush on a lady. Kevin will be my vessel through which to make heart eyes at her. I'm unfamiliar with Laura but she sounds awesome! Kevin won't feel bothered by the claws or the magic. In fact, he's got a little experience being the vehicle for something evil. Maybe they should form a support group?

lol he has an emotional support vampire falcon? But he loves dogs too, because obviously, who doesn't, and also he's kind of a softie hiding under a hardass hiding under absolutely the coolest of all Captains America. And it's 616 so there's been, like, ten of them.

I feel like a support group for people who've been hijacked by the forces of evil would get surprisingly high uptake.

Welcome! I'm Zed and have Five here from the Umbrella Academy. As a classic trope of time travel, he's 58 years-old and stuck in his 13 year-old body. He's too smart, too short-tempered, and I can see everything about Kevin making him facepalm in the absolute best of ways.

One good thing is that Five loves dogs. Dogs and ice cream are just about the only things in this world he likes. So Mike Hat will be deeply appreciated even if his owner is merely tolerated.

I can promise you Kevin won't remember Five's true age no matter how many times he's told. He should emotionally prepare to be called ~*little fella*~ and have his hair frequently tousled. Mike Hat will join him in a round of internal screaming.

Hi, I’m Lilly, and I’m here with a post-Endgame Natasha Romanoff. I hope sincerely Kevin will in fact be Tony’s admin assistant because she will want to fistbump Tony and say “nice, treat yo self.” Kevin can design the logo for the library if the rest of the library gang is amendable, and then we can all have long meetings where we discuss how to give him notes on the logo.

I'm Dan!

I got two boys. This one, be St. John Allerdyce (Pyro) from X-Men 616 and he's trying to do good, but he's still a lippy jack ass that likes to run his mouth and get himself into trouble. Besides that, he's angry and fun to be around. Super fun!

Then I also have Nyx Ulric (Final Fantasy XV: Kingsglaive) [info]insomniashero, and he's just a good boy! He just wasnts to do good things and I've been comparing him to a golden retriever. Loyal and just a good boy. He just likes being helpful and fighting for what's good and right. He currently lives with Five, well, Five lives in his attic. Oh, and Nyx actually has a sassy droid from Star Wars named "BB15" (imagine BB8 but green and way more rude).

That's all I think. It's probably not, but don't mind me!

GOOD BOYS UNITE. The following is actual footage of Nyx and Kevin, probably.

FFXV is one of the few in the series that I haven't played. As a kid, 60+ hours of game play was a major selling point. These days it feels a little more daunting. But, someday! I swear I'll get to it!

And you bet your butt he's down to hang with Pyro. I mean, the guy can make toast any time, anyplace. How convenient is that?

Hello. I am so incredibly excited for Kevin, he's just so hilarious and easy on the eyes.

I'm Frost, and I have a few!

Most notably, I think, is Tony Stark (mcu), who doesn't necessarily need a secretary in a place like this, but seeing as he is the mayor, he probably deserves one. Not Kevin, but that's what he's going to get anyway, hopefully.

I also have Clint Barton from the comics, who also has a dog called Lucky. Lucky likes pizza and long walks around places where people will give him pizza. He should absolutely go on play dates with Mike Hat.

Loki is also from the comics, but seeing as Kevin looks like a dumber version of his brother, he will.... probably be fond of him. But also irritated.

Sirius Black IS a good dog, and .... will probably think Kevin is funny, but not wholly realize that he is not joking when he says ridiculous things.

John Constantine will want no part of Kevin or his antics, therefore we must make it happen.

And Ben Hargreeves (umbrella academy) is... just. Not sure.

Kevin first came to Tony's office looking for a free burger, because Mayor McCheese is the only political figure he knows.

10/10 would love doggy play dates! I can see Kevin as having been a dog walker at some point in his life.

Kevin's reactions to Loki will unwittingly be very Thor-like. He could morph into a snake with intentions of biting Kevin, and Kevin will be too impressed by the trick to bother getting angry. Does he also make balloon animals? Kevin wants a poodle!

Confession: I stopped reading the series when Sirius died. My heart hurt too much. Interacting with him now will do my childhood self good.

We can figure out the specifics for John and Ben as we go! I genuinely love organically forming lines every bit as the pre-planned ones.

Kevin would love to peruse Steve's sketchpad. His work belongs in museums. Or airbrushed on the side of a sweet van!

If he learns of Bill's title of curse breaker, he'll probably take it to mean Bill is particularly foul-mouthed. He'll be the reason Kevin keeps a swear jar on his desk. That will be $.25 for every sentence enhancer, please.

Hiya! I love Kevin already! I'm Mal, I've got several folks here that'd love to run into him at some point.

-Tony Stark, the younger one, he's from the Avengers Academy mobile game.
-Peter B Parker, from Into the Spider-Verse, he's of course older than most of the other Peter's around town, and he helps to run Pancho's Bar with Carol where he makes pizza!
-America Chavez, young avenger, generally not too happy about being here and doing her best to have a better attitude about it.
-Klaus Hargreeves, from The Umbrella Academy. He runs a bodega out of his house with his brother Ben, and generally is considered your go to guy for snacks and things.
-Barbara Gordon, she's just lost her friends but is getting ready to help get the library up off the ground, where I hear that Kevin is going to be doing a little design work for them.
-Kitty Pryde, my last - an X-Man and new arrival, she's still trying to figure out what's going on and how to get back and trying to keep the other X-Men/mutants out of harms way as much as possible

To avoid confusion, Kevin will refer to young!Tony as T-2. Naturally, this will devolve into a lot of Terminator and Arnold Schwarzenegger references. So in the end, he will have possibly made things even more convoluted. As is his way.

I just watched Into the Spiderverse last weekend and looooved it. Oliver Jackson-Cohen is a really great pb choice. You can count on Kevin as a loyal patron. Same with Klaus's bodega. Although, he probably came in hoping the shop had something to do with 'that Star Wars guy.' Kevin was mildly disappointed to find no geeky memorabilia in sight.

Truly, I'm excited to mock up some intentionally awful logos. This may even inspire me to dust off the ol' tablet.

And I wouldn't put it past Kevin to see Kitty pass through a wall and assume she's a ghost. He figures it's a Sixth Sense kind of a deal; she can't pass on because she doesn't know she's dead. It's okay. He's here to help.

I'm Anne, and I have a few fun kiddos who'd probably love to play with Kevin. ;)

-Carol Danvers (MCU): Runs the local bar (Pancho's) with the older Peter Parker (one of them, anyway). She'd be amused by Kevin for a little while, might even enjoy messing with his head

-Harley Quinn (DCEU): She'd love to mess with Kevin. She loves to mess with everyone.

-Obi-Wan/Ben Kenobi (Star Wars): Ben is kind of quiet right now, mostly keeping to himself and close colleagues. He's just reaching out, but isn't going to be so vocal. Yet.

-Miles Morales (Spider-Verse): Spider-Man! He's an artist and lost kiddo is just trying to get by here. He'd want to befriend Kevin at first, but might get annoyed with him and avoid him later. Poor Kevin.

-Thirteen (The Doctor): The infamous Doctor, usually running around exploring and scanning stuff and trying to solve everyone's problems.

Carol 😍😍 Both she and Harley are welcome to mess with him, but it will be a challenge when he takes everything they say at face value.

Apologies in advance for all the times Kevin will get Obi-Wan's name wrong.

Miles will be completely justified in his frustration, but I'll miss him. He's such a charming little cinnamon roll. We could start them off with Kevin wanting to pick up tips on spray painting or something!

Kevin will misunderstand what kind of doctor Thirteen is, guaranteed. Does this rash look weird to you??

Hey there! I'm so glad you decided to come! I'm Cogs, the person who badgered you in fandom_psls. I have three babes, who are all from Marvel Comics because I have a problem.

Jean Grey (TRN240) is the teenage version of Marvel's favorite ginger superhero. She got ripped out of her own time and brought to the present with the rest of her team to discover how she's died more times than Freddie Kruger. She feels a kind of way about that. Currently, Jean is trying to organize scavenger strike teams to go get community needs through the doors. She's a telepath who naturally hears people's thoughts, which is OOC opt-in if you're interested in her being totally confused by what Kevin has going on in his gingerbread brain house!

Bobby Drake (616) [info]cooljokes Iceman! Original X-Men, total dipshit. Recently outed by his time-displaced teenage self (see above) and now trying to live his truth~ as a gay man after repressing himself for a long time. He supplies the town with all their coolant needs. AC, ice boxes (literally boxes of ice), snow cones, Popsicles, et cetera. He will have fun fooling around with Kevin.

Stephen Strange (616) [info]supremed Sorcerer Supreme! Very intelligent master of the mystical arts who is dedicated to trying to understand what is happening to them. He will side eye Kevin every time he makes a dumb comment. I anticipate that his eyes will eventually be stuck that way.

Hello again, and thank you for the recommendation that brought me here!

Jean is welcome to hear Kevin's thoughts but it's probably a lot of this. I would also be happy to volunteer him for scavenger hunts. Give him a list and a cookie for completing goals, and he'll search for key items all day long.

Bobby is officially one of his favorites. If Kevin's phone still worked, he'd be entered into his contacts under "Icecream Man."

I chinhands at Stephen's fancy talk. Having played characters like that in the past, they're so fun and I love them. Apologies in advance if all the eye rolling at Kevin causes him any headaches. I swear, I have plans to develop him beyond a joke character.
