New Player / Character
So... hello peopley type peoples. My name is Irish and I am bringing you Paige Elisabeth Guthrie, a.k.a. Husk. She's the second born child and oldest daughter of the large Guthrie clan and can tear her skin off to reveal something new underneath (such as stone or metal). She's incredibly southern (complete with the hick-like accent) and incredibly smart. She's also just learned how to control her secondary mutation so she's still a little off kilter at the moment.

Hey Irish! I'm Cogs and the two characters of mine that will be super familiar with Paige are:

Bobby Drake 616, coming in from the end of the Sina Grace penned Iceman volume 3 from last year. He was outed by a time-displaced teenage twerp version of himself, so he's trying to get used to living his life authentically as a gay man. They're around the same age and I'm sure have worked together on the X-Men plenty of times! Bobby is a total goofball who makes bad jokes constantly but generally really tries to keep spirits high. Right now he's making ice treats for people, specifically boozecicles and snow cones.

Jean Grey TRN240, the All New X-Men series saw the five original teenagers brought forward in time to stop an impending mutant genocide. After seeing the future and discovering what she has in store for her, Jean and the others decided not to go back to their original time. Recently, the Phoenix Force came to Earth and chased her down and she successfully told it to fuck off for now. It's awkward for Jean because her future self has this long legacy and so many people have a lot of opinions and memories of her but she's just a kid. I know Paige specifically has spent a lot of time at teh Jean Grey School. Jean's probably grateful to be here because maybe the Phoenix won't be able to find her here. Once she gets settled she is going to try and organize scavenger missions through the Doors, if that is something Paige would be interested in!

Bobby: I usually play Paige as having a crush on Bobby when she was younger so this could be a whole lot of fun. lol. She'll want to know everything, more than likely. And who better than to ask than the man who's been here awhile? Plus, bad jokes are a treat.

Jean: As someone who's interested in all forms of their world, Paige would likely have SO many questions for Jean. These two should become friends.

Yes, perfect! Bobby is very interested in friends, and he'd be very satisfied to learn about any kind of crush she may have had on him back in his playa days! Jean also has more questions than answers after everything she's seen and is in a constant state of existential crisis. There should definitely be a proper diagnosis for mental health issues due to time and space displacement! All that to say that, yeah, Jean could use friends too! Especially since she doesn't have her heart set on trying to get out of this place yet.
