This is my first time to New York, and I am unsure what to think. I did not picture it smelling like this.

I am Shuri, of Wakanda.

Yes. I was the younger prince of Asgard. My brother Thor is king.

Oh that is right. Asgard. A different planet, or realm if you want to use the vernacular. Then it is a pleasure to meet you, Loki of Asgard.

Oh, did you know of it? The former realm, or planet, as it once was. Many Midgardians regarded Asgard as nothing more than myth, and not an actual place.

Nonetheless, it is nice to meet you as well, Shuri of Wakanda.

I have heard many things. I read a lot too.

If you have heard many things, then I imagine that you know of me and my brother. Not all of it is true. Much has been lost in translation. Or elaborated upon far too much by one of the Warriors Three.

My brother is quite fond of your world. If you have read many things, then perhaps you might suggest what I might read in order to better understand the charms of this realm.

Yes, I have read many things about them. There are always stories.

It is a good place to live. Most things to know about this world, you should just find on social media. People are open books that way.

After past trespasses, I am gradually learning to appreciate this realm's charms.

However, I am still trying to fathom the sheer amount of posts about what they have had for lunch on Instagram or why there is so much significance of changing a relationship status on Facebook. Is this supposed to have some profound, deeper meaning?

Perhaps I am not looking at the right posts. I am not sure if these are open books that need to be read.

It is not all bad, but I have not been to much outside my own country. Too busy trying to keep everyone safe.

People like to think that what they do is interesting to other people. They do not want to seem boring. It is reaching for meaning for their lives, and to those around them.

Some are more shallow than others.

Then this must be a great opportunity. Although I do hope you were successful in that endeavor, before your departure.

As for wanting to seem interesting? I would say that many have missed the mark in their attempt to dive into deeper meaning, and instead found themselves face-down in a shallow pool.

As much as I could be, yes.

Not everyone can be brilliant, I guess. There are a lot of people on this planet.
