You know what? Those are good things. Seriously, if I could clap for you right now, I would. I'd happily make a donation to any of those causes (and I HAVE before).
Let's see, what other useless (to you) things do I have on my resume after I decided that making weapons was the wrong thing to do (just so you can't throw that in my face). Sustainable clean energy projects. Funding clean water and crops for poor countries. Stark Foundation Disaster Relief. I flew a nuke up a dimensional sphincter so people like you weren't sucking up fallout. I've back-engineered a designer virus out of Pepper so she didn't blow up like a bomb. Taken down a terrorist ring....holy crap, my volunteering resume could go on and on too.
But sure, that's apples and oranges. It's nothing to you. Because you're trying to make it a great social injustice that someone tried to give a fun and/or funny gift, when Pepper was upset enough that filtering didn't happen.
Do you celebrate Christmas? Birthdays? Or do you donate everything you were going to give to people you like or love (if you even HAVE anyone that qualifies)?
Because if you ever have, you have zero room to talk about whatever someone gives to someone else, regardless of how much or how little it costs.
So you go do your good deeds and I'll go TRY to do mine, to the best of our abilities.
Good luck to you in your future endeavors and I'm sure you'll make something great out of yourself someday, given your extensive references.
