Who: Everyone
What: Jane's Surprise Birthday
When: (Backdated) 11/3/18
Where: Asgard Home
Status: Green

The party planning was the perfect distraction for Darcy, and it allowed her to focus on Jane and ensuring this birthday would be the best she ever had. After entering the warehouse and seeing the illusion of the Yggdrasil tree, along with the stars and constellations all around, it took her a moment to remember how to breathe. It was perfect. And she hoped Jane and the others would enjoy it. With the hour nearing for the party, Darcy had two long tables set up with snacks and finger foods for everyone to enjoy.

She tried to make it all as science-based as possible for Jane and the others who showed interest in the party, and really in truth, Darcy realized how many of them all had some hand in science, so the illusion Loki provided was perfect. It might make Thor feel a bit more at home, too. With the text sent out to everyone about the location, she hoped Thor was able to keep Jane busy and not let any secrets out about the surprise party.

Darcy herself was inside the kitchen, making the last few touches to the birthday cake before putting away and out of sight, just as she heard the knock on the front door, informing her that people were starting to show up. A deep exhale escaped her lips as she moved towards the door.

“Here we go,” she said, as she opened the door to greet the first guests to arrive.

Tony poured himself another drink, long since feeling twitchy and cornered. Attending the party was a mistake. Jane's last birthday party was the same day that Pepper disappeared in front of him. A thought that he was trying very hard to fend off. He was looking around for Happy, but he was waiting around...somewhere...probably outside being hyper-vigilant about intruders. Not that he needed to, but whatever floated his boat.

"Sure, we'll do that," he said, a little too quickly. He glanced over at her and managed a smile. "Maybe next month or something. Pencil something in." For lack of something to do, he looked down at at his wristwatch. "Look at the time. She's going to be here soon. Get ready to say surprise."

And with that said he quieted, waiting for Jane and Thor's imminent arrival.

Nat watched Tony closely, the past few years with him and the other's she'd been able to get a good read off of each and everyone. So when Tony answered quickly and made the comment about penciling in, all Nat could do was take a sip of her own drink as she came to stand close beside him.

Only to watch him look to his watch and say that it was getting to that time for Jane and Thor to come through that door. A simple nod was given as another sip was taken. "I'll pencil something in." She said as she glanced to the door as it started to open.
