Infinity was undefinable. It could not be known, or quantified. Reach for the edge of infinity and the reality was the grasp only extended the boundary. Jane could feel it. The want of it. She yearned for that infinite possibility. Her body rearranged itself in preparation.
Once, Jane's cellular structure had reorganized itself in order to accept an ancient and elemental. With the power gone, the atoms realigned but Jane could still feel the space between them. Infinite gaps where infinity once was.
Not so long ago, Jane Foster had her life bound up in the Aether. Now the Aether called out to come home.
