It was true that his people weren't wasteful. Although they were well versed in battle and lived in clans, they were tightly-knit groups that came together to share stories of their children's conceptions every winter solstice. They had a healthy respect for life and death, and everything that transpired in-between.
"We celebrated, without review. There was never food as decadent as this, or blowing things up for enjoyment." He appeared to consider the alcoholic beverages for a long moment. "I remember drinking the liquid which causes jolly belligerence while we were awaiting the Collector's summons on Knowhere."
Although he couldn't read, he heard about beer from the radio and television. He stared expectantly at a bartender while stating, "I will have what is known as the beer."
"Uhh...." The bartender wasn't sure what to give to the strange looking and intimidating man, so he offered the first bottle within reach. It was a bottle of Dos Equis.
"A worthy drink! For this is the chosen beverage of the most interesting man in the world," exclaimed Drax, while brandishing the bottle like a trophy so everyone around them could see it. The bartender ducked for cover.
Ignoring that, Drax turned so he could enthusiastically explain to Hope, "I already wrestle large beasts and leap out of ships in flight. I have mastered invisibility. This recognition means that I am an interesting man as well!"
