Frigga was finding Midgard to be rather interesting. She could understand her sons' interest in it. The reasons behind it would be as different as each of her sons were from the other. She wouldn't have it any other way. Her boys were both stubborn with strong personalities, and she loved them both.

She had heard from Sif on the internet, but the warrior didn't believe Frigga was real. The former Queen of Asgard could understand the hesitation so invited Sif to bring Thor with her to Frigga's chambers when they returned to the warehouse.

Sif was not a person who took things on face value especially when it came to the sudden if not completely inexplicable resurrection of Thor's mother, the Queen of Asgard, especially as things were already strange enough as it was without adding further confusion into the mix. She much rather see things with her own eyes and come to her own conclusions before she followed aimlessly and blindly.

It was a lot to hope for that death had released its grip on Frigga and hope was both elating and frightening all at the same time. She had for the longest of times looked to Frigga as a role model and valued her opinion quite highly.

She and Thor had been away with Dr Strange trying to find out as much information as they could about the purple titan that was coming to bring doom upon the land of Midgard. It was however good to be home or as close to home as they could get without the familiarity of Asgard though trepidation did mar her normally fluid stride as she knew where Frigga resided within the warehouse.

Thor should of course have first sight of her as she was his mother at the end of the day.

Travelling the stars and various other realms was not new to Thor, and with an information download from the alternative timeline that needed to be validated - the various locations of the stones that they knew of - as well as trying to find more information, if they could, about this Thanos characters so that he could avoid the events from the alternate timeline coming to life.

The knowledge still haunted him, even though in the alternate timeline the rabbit provided him with an eye, he was yet to see the rabbit. So he still had a patch.

The invitation from his mother - the conversations he had monitored on the network - to his own home had amused him somewhat. But it had also bothered him; had Loki not mentioned that they, also, lived there? Had Darcy not mentioned it?

His normally confident strides faltered as they entered the warehouse, as did the Lady Sif's. He reached out and touched her lower back, hand lingering for a few seconds before he withdrew and offered her a small, awkward smile.

"Shall we?" he asked, lifting a hand to rap his knuckles smartly on the door, waiting for a response before pushing it open.

The knock was almost painfully familiar. Frigga would be able to identify him by the sound of his footsteps alone even if she were blind. It made her smile before she called out to bid them enter.

Seeing him made her breath catch in her throat. The eyepatch was new. And what had happened to his hair? He looked more and more like his father. So much so that it made her heart ache for a moment before she approached Thor and Sif with outstretched arms.

"My son," she said. "Lady Sif. Welcome to my chambers. It is very good to see you both."

Sif allowed Thor to enter Frigga's room first especially as he was the King of Asgard and Frigga's son. He should have first honour of clasping eyes on the previously deceased Queen mother. And she was if nothing else alert and wary, ready to have Thor's back at any given second should this prove to be some sort of twisted lie.

Hopefully it would not but Sif did not wish to raise her hopes in case they were crushed.

She watched as Frigga and Thor embraced, dark eyes ticking over every small detail of Frigga's face as if it were the first time she had seen it. She looked, talked, and moved like the Frigga she loved and lost but she was still... reserved.

This was after all Thor's moment.

Thor drew in a breath when he saw his mother standing in front of him, regal and fierce and beautiful and all the things he never thought he would see again. His chest tightened, that heavy sensation of grief that had rocked through him, wracked his body ever since the vision of Loki's throat being crushed by Thanos' hand was briefly soothed.

He wrapped his arms around her, holding her tightly, his fingers clasping at the fabric of her clothing before he caught himself, cleared his throat and withdrew from her embrace, stepping aside slightly to let Sif approach as he pushed his hand through his hair and scratched anxiously at his beard. Should he have shaved before entering his mother's chambers? Probably.

"I- uh- I assume you've spoken with Strange?"

There was nothing in any of the nine worlds like a hug from her large son. They were rather engulfing. Frigga had missed them so she leaned into it with a gentle smile on her face.

She released Thor reluctantly, but he was king now and one didn't mother a king. That gentle smile was turned on Sif instead as she answered.

"At length." Frigga wondered how Thor would take this. "He is quite an interesting gentleman. For a Midgardian. We will be exchanging information. Comparing our magics. I look forward to it."
