Thor had been doing his part to keep the kitchen clean all week long. He'd assisted with every other type of cleaning, and even cleaned up after some of his housemates in preparation for the big night. He didn't care as much about it being clean as some of the others did, but he didn't want to jeopardize it happening at all. He had ever intention of allowing Loki to hire a maid after the party. He didn't have unlimited funds to work with, so he kept things as simple as possible. He used something called fairy lights to cover every window and door, and that was essentially it for decoration. He used the remainder of his resources to purchase liquor, and he hired a caterer to supply the food. If no one showed up, he would at least have purchased enough for them to live on for at least a few days.

Everyone was invited, and by late afternoon, everything was ready to go. He took a long hot shower and dressed in a casual Midgardian outfit of a white shirt and a suit. It roughly resembled an outfit Loki had glamoured onto him one of the many times his little brother appeared not to want to be seen with him. This was a real suit of clothes, though, and not an illusion. He poured himself a glass of wine, and sat on the couch, which was no longer either snakes or puppies, to wait.
