Who: Hope van Dyne, Tony Stark What: meet and greet. When: after this network exchange. Rating: Green.
Tony wasn't sure what to expect where Hope van Dyne was concerned. From a young age, he overheard plenty about how stubborn Hank Pym was. Apparently stubbornness ran in both family lines, from what he managed to gather during their network chat. He certainly didn't have any thoughts of trying to nudge his way in on whatever they were working on, to take it and use it for secret means. He was sure that was part of Howard's drunken grumbling whenever Tony came home during the holidays. In the meantime, Tony's whole ideology was to make the future a better place and try not to leave it in ruins. It was going to take a whole lot of brains working together, to make sure the entire world stayed safe. Even if he still felt the weight of trying to do as much as he could, all on his own.
Given previous events, not leaving things in ruins wasn't exactly going the way he intended. It never went the way he intended. But he was stubbornly trying to pick up pieces, reconfigure them, and learn from past mistakes. There were things to get done, and for some inexplicable reason, he felt like there was a clock ticking and a deadline to meet.
As it was, he was watching the nanotech armor move up and down one an outstretched arm from the reactor housing, using only a thought. Shuri was amazing and what they were doing in Wakanda was light years ahead of the rest of the world. Now that there was a meeting arranged in his personal lab, he was certain that Hope was going to bring a lot to their collective think tank.
