"Alright, do tell when that happens and I will tell you all the reasons why, in young adult Midgardian slang, you're a snack." Valkyrie offered, laughing at the slang though she did understand it. What she didn't understand was why, based on her own observations, Midgardians connected eating with sex so much. It was weird.
Bruce's bashfulness was adorable and refreshing. Val was used to boastful assholes, or extremely confident large puppies like Thor, or extremely confident...shifty ones like Loki. But mostly boastful assholes, for years upon years. And then Hulk had come along and he was boastful, but not an asshole. And now Bruce was neither. It was nice to be around someone who didn't seem eager to jump up and yell out how great they were. And yes, she counted herself among the former.
"It's not a thing at all, he's a person. A big, angry, green person but still a person!" Val agreed. It was good to know Bruce didn't feel animosity towards the Hulk to the point where he overlooked how misunderstood his 'other half' could be. "But he's also not fit for this world unless he's controlled by a third party and let loose on their terms, right? And neither am I and I think we'd both like a bit more freedom than that. It's not like I can just pick up my fake identification and go to school for...what's something boring but useful? Cooking?"
Valkyrie cocked her head at the mention of 'Ph.D', something she didn't know what it meant, but which Bruce had a lot of. Not wanting to sound ignorant any more than she usually did however, she decided to google it later. "Oh? An accident, was it?"
