Who: Steve Rogers and Bucky Barnes What: Senior Citizen Reunion When: Right after this Rating: TBD
When he'd been walking around the other day, he'd vaguely noticed that the old barber shop was no longer there. It was just one of a dozen things he'd noticed were long gone, though. Things that were still around were more noticeable, because there were fewer of them. He knew exactly what place Steve was talking about, though, and he hurried there. Luckily he was already in Brooklyn, still wandering around the old neighborhood, so he had no difficulty getting there quickly.
He didn't know why he was nervous about it. He'd been in cryo up until two days ago, so it felt like he'd only just seen Steve three days ago. He'd been thinking about it a lot, though. Steve had put himself on the line for Bucky, and he'd taken the easy route out, being frozen again. He was scared that someone else would be able to use him as a weapon, but he still regretted leaving his best friend alone. Steve might not need him anymore, but Bucky knew only too well what it was like to feel like an outsider.
He found the Chinese restaurant and went inside. The woman at the front podium tried to offer him a table, but he told her that he was meeting someone. He made his way back, scanning the few patrons, and spotted him. He instantly felt better, just seeing him, and he slid into the chair across from him. "I hope you weren't comin' here for a haircut," he said, nearly smiling.
