Matt lifted his head slightly as Frank cut himself off, but he didn't push for the rest of that the other man wanted to say. There was something subtle in Frank's body language that gave it away. The man needed secrets. Everyone needed secrets. Telling something to a stranger in a mask was sometimes easier than telling it to someone you could identify.
"If the CIA are involved I'm guessing there was a lot more than what Karen originally dug up," Matt said thoughtfully. Curiosity pricked him, but he pushed it away. Frank was not the sharing type. He ignored the comment about his death. The less he thought about it the better in his opinion.
"I'm sorry for what happened. But.. well.." He shifted slightly, turning as if glancing away, though he couldn't stop 'seeing' Frank if he tried. The man was an imposing figure in his senses. "I never got a chance to thank you... for helping me on that rooftop. So.. well, thanks."
