Food was way more than fuel to the brunette, who adored different kinds of food almost as much as she adored coffee and helping people and Lucky. "I feel like we get to know so much about people by what they eat, what they celebrate, what they find to be important?" Kate lifted the punch for a sip. It sure had rum in it. But it was good. The alcohol was masked by the fruit and sweetness.
...and she was blushing again. Of course, Kate knew she was the best archer in the world. (Okay, maybe the second best...) but hearing him say it? It meant a lot. "This is the time of year a lot of people think about giving. In this country it's mostly because of upcoming taxes, but... I think some of it is altruism." She shrugged one shoulder.
"I hope that you're letting yourself have some time off. For movies and pizza." She grinned.
